Registrations

We are currently undertaking the process of registering all Waverley players with Hockey Victoria.

If you have not yet completed your registration forms please ensure you do so ASAP and forward to juniorrego@waverleyhc.org.au or alternatively hand in to your age level co-ordinator at your training sessions. It is critical to the process that prior to registration with HV that a copy of your registration form is received otherwise you will not be registered with HV and will be unable to play.

Fees

 If you have not yet paid full fees the $50 deposit is required ASAP. Players who have not paid this deposit will not be able to play Round 1.  Full fees, or a payment plan are due by Round 4.

• Equipment Co-ordinator
• Friday night Umpire Co-ordinator
• Saturday morning Umpire Co-ordinator
• U17 Girls Age Group Co-ordinator
• U17 Boys Age Group Co-ordinator

 Plus Team Manager and Parent Liaison Co-ordinator roles for many age groups.

2012 is an Olympic year and the best way to get close to the event action is to be part of the 2012 G.J Gardner Homes Junior State Championships.  

 (Under 13, 15, 17 players only)

In 2012 trials will be conducted for all 6 metropolitan Zones on the following dates:

•    Sunday 6 May 2012
•    Sunday 13 May 2012

NOTE: All Under 17 teams will be selected during the May trials and not later in the year.

If you are willing to be a team manager or parent liaison for your child’s team – or a backup to either of these roles please come down to the club house, it will only take up a small amount of your time and will help you feel confident in doing your part for the club in 2012.

Not interested? Have a think about what you have done to help out Waverley Hockey Club recently?   Nothing? then rethink !!   we rely 100% on volunteers and with 300++ junior players everyone needs to do something in 2012…

What is Tuesday night for?

1. First Aid Training – a great opportunity for all parents to learn / refresh their first aid skills
2. Team Manager briefing – learn how easy it is to be a team manager or backup team manager, receive the team manager kits / books
3. Parent Liaison briefing – learn about this new role and how you can have fun organising a social event and duty night with all of the kids and parents in your team helping you

All parents are encouraged to attend, find out how easy it is to help out at Waverley Hockey Club.

Due to the construction of the new student accommodation at Monash University, what was previously designated as parking for the hockey field, tennis courts and soccer ground has now been converted to permanent residential parking. A ticket inspectors has informed one of our players that this is a 24/7 restriction so people who park in this area will be fined.

All sport club members/users will now no longer have access to this car park and will need to use the C11 Gravel Car Park (next to Rugby Pitch, opposite Swimming Pool), or the Multi Storey Car Park (near gym and main oval). The gravel car park boom gate will be raised from 4pm weekdays to allow access, and further will be raised all day across weekends.

Peninsula Hockey Centre

HV have been advised that the small carpark adjacent to the hockey pitch at PHC (Monash Uni – Frankston campus) has been temporarily closed.
