Equipment
It is the player’s responsibility to make sure they have all the necessary gear with them at training and at games.
To play hockey you will need the following equipment:
- Mouthguard
- Shin guards
- Club uniform
- Hockey Stick
- Drink Bottle
- Sneakers
It may also be useful to have:
- A Stick bag
- Hockey shoes
If you are a Goalie you will need full protective equipment. The Club can supply or if the goalie supplies they will receive a discount on their fees
Waverley recommends you purchase your equipment at our sponsor’s FHE, shop known as Adrenalin Rush. Staff will be able to assist with appropriate sizing of equipment including sticks. Mention you are from Waverley for a discount.

Uniform
The Waverley Club Colours are Navy Blue & White
Girls wear:
Waverley club playing shirt, shorts or skort, socks
Skort compulsory at Under 15, 17 Shield
For those teams with uniform clashes within their competition it is compulsory to have the alternate white shirt & light blue socks (many children use the alternate uniform for training)
Boys wear:
Waverley club playing shirt, shorts, socks

Minkey:
Players are not required to wear the uniform. It is recommended that they wear a tracksuit and sneakers. Children who return to Minkey for a second year receive a Minkey shirt.

Uniform Suppliers
Order forms and uniforms are available at Registration day.
During the season use the uniform order form on the web site – fill in and give to your team manager or Age Group Co-ordinator. There may also be advertised ‘uniform shop’ opening times during the pre season and season.

The Uniform Shop not only supplies players’ uniforms, but also stocks a great line of clothing including hoodies, vests, spray jackets etc. for players and parents. Order forms with prices can found in the Club rooms.
New Rugby Tops
The Club has also just introduced a smart looking, new Rugby Top which is for sale by order only. This is a great item for casual dress at and outside of the club. An especially good item for social wear at Waverley’s senior matches etc. There are sample sizes available in the Uniform Shop.
Second hand Uniforms
This year we are introducing the sale of second hand uniforms. This is on trial this year and will continue dependent on interest. If you have items your children have grown out of, please consider donating these items to the Uniform Shop. This can be done during Uniform opening hours.
Socks
The new socks are not yet in, we will let you know once available to pickup.
