Indoor Hockey

Summer 2011/12

Congratulations to all our Junior Indoor players, we entered 6 junior teams, the most from any club. The U13 Girls team made the Grand Final!

The Hockey Victoria Indoor Competition is played over the summer months. It is a 6 a side competition with a goal keeper and five field players played on an indoor surface up to 40m x 20m with wooden boards down each side of the court. It is a very fast game which is popular in Europe and is becoming more so in Australia. Playing indoor certainly improves skills and decision making and is the perfect vehicle to ready yourself for outdoor hockey over the summer.
