Thank Yous & Photos WHC 50th Celebrations
Posted May 11, 2009 at 9:49 am by Rhys EddyWhat a great night to celebrate 50 years of Waverley Hockey Club! It was great to have founding members Hedley Hull, Les Large, Kingsley Hull and Arthur Tuckett in attendance.
I would like to pass on special thanks to the following people whom contributed enormously over the last couple of months to make this such a fabulous night. Don Trewin for MC on the night, Roger Andrews for last minute printing deadlines, Beth Merkus for guidance and feedback to the Club Committee, Ian Hocking for the Club’s determination to pursue this event, Di Robbie & Antony Green for co-ordinating the Teams of the First 50, Sue-Anne Hocking for artwork, Drew Ashton for the presentations and especially the Organising Committee of Drew, Ant, Rach, Jess and Bronwyn for delivering a great night. – Brian Maddock
