Bar and canteen will be open. But have been asked to control ourselves whilst the children are around.
Everyone welcome.
Might see you there.

2006 Exec and 4 New Life Members
Posted November 11th 2005 by Rhys Eddy No CommentsCongratulations to the 2006 Executive Committe members elected at the recent Club AGM
President – Rick Thompson
Secretary – Ken Moore
Treasurer – Drew Ashton
Vice Presidents
Juniors – Ian Hocking
Men – David Hancock – assisted by Don Larter
Women – Vacant
Brenda Powell is ensuring that preparations for season 2006 are still progressing, but as she has indicated, has not renominated for the position of womens vice president.
The Executive are committed to two facilities projects this year in erecting an electronic scoreboard and upgrading the BBQ area. They are looking for tradesmen or suppliers who can help out with materials and labour for the BBQ project and funding support for both projects.
Reducing the club debt after relaying the surface is progressing well and it is hoped that it will be paid in full over the next 2-3 years. During that time though, the replacement of the lights will be looked at and costings done, so the matter of continued fundraising activities is vital.
Congratulations to new life members
Neil Brooks
Travis Brooks
Steve Mowlam
Luke Doerner
Neil Brooks was nominated by Ed Hoye and Brian Benfield and Ed spoke of Neil's contribution to the Club over many years. He has certainly been an integral part in playing, coaching and administration of the Club.
Travis, Steve and Luke have been acknowledged for playing a minimum of ten games with the Australian team and having been members of Waverley HC for at least five years.
As the Club approaches its 50th birthday in 2008/9, the Executive are asking for members to volunteer to be part of a group to organise associated activities. You don't have to be old to participate! A few people put up their hand at the AGM, but more volunteers are needed.
To offer your services, or any further information on any of the items, or any aspect of the AGM, contact Secretary Ken Moore 9560 2405
