Womens Unit
The Women’s unit has seen high levels of success since the first Women’s team was entered by Waverley, in 1969. This year, the Club celebrates 50 prominent years in Victorian Hockey which is highlighted by 4 Women’s State League 1 premierships as well as numerous premierships shared by the other Women’s teams.
In 2009 Waverley will register 5 Women’s teams in the HV competition. The Panther’s will be looking at the experienced youth and new recruits to rebuild the dynasty of old. It is an exciting time for the new look Women’s team coached by Andrew Steele, who will be looking at nothing short of finals.
Your executive committee contact for the Women’s Unit is Women’s president Danita Eastman. Please check team information on the MyWHC page before emailing Danita.
Make sure you get involved in our club’s 50th year celebrations in what will be a momentous year on and off the field!
